This listing if for TWELVE (12) TOMY Aurora AFX HO SLOT CAR CONTROLLERS. They will fit any TOMY AFX or Autoworld style terminal tracks made from 1986 through present day. These are old school TOMY issued originally for their 6 lane race tracks. UNUSED BULK, NO PACKAGING. TOMY part #8630. Included is SIX SHORT & SIX LONG CONTROLLERS, which are VERY USEFUL FOR LARGE TRACKS AS THEY GIVE YOU MORE ROOM TO ROAM. Please Note: Many controllers have what appear to be plastic imperfections as can be seen in the photo. These melt-like imperfections & marks have no effect on performance & are probably the reason these controllers were not sold long ago. A defect from the past pays dividends in the present with a super value on a really decent triggered, controller.Footnote: TOMY AFX changed their system in 2016 due to governmental regulations. In order to comply with new restrictions, TOMY had to create an enclosed-motor design. The issue then became the controller, which needed to be modified with a 120 Ohm controller versus the traditional 45-60 Ohm typically used from 1972 to date. Bottom line is; Gray controllers Will work with most HO slot cars, on most systems, from 1962 through 2015. They will Not operate as a direct substitute for the Black 120 Ohm controller, when using strictly Mega G+ style, enclosed-motor vehicles made from 2016 on.
