Magna-steer has magnets located under the pickup shoes, which attract to the rails, thereby 'holding' the car on course. sure it did. Originally intended for a voltage limited 12V system, it seems to handle my Pyramid powered 21st Century track ok. Not a barn burner, but it drives, steers & overall, amuses people in the pursuit of an odd. A Beautiful addition to any HO Slot Car Collection! New Old Stock.
