This listing is for ONE (1) NEW OLD STOCK MABUCHI of Japan BOX-STYLE MOTOR. UNUSED WITH ORIGINAL UN-SOLDERED ELECTRICAL POSTS. THESE MOTORS HAVE AN 8 TOOTH PLASTIC 'CLUTCH' OF SOME SORT INSTALLED. IN A CLOCKWISE MOVEMENT, THE CLUTCH EXTENDS AND LOCKS INTO USE. They were probably originally created as a toy part. Possibly a Motorific sort of motor. Also can be used in a variety of other motion related dioramas, vehicles or purposes. Very durable and will spark up around 6 volts and whir like crazy at 15V. Ken Mabuchi was the preeminent motor builder of this sort of motor. The quality, detail and attention to durability and performance were unmatched.
