This listing is for 1977 Aurora AFX Ultra5 A Chassis + B Chassis Slot less Car Parts Both appear unused but are pulled from a large cull stock. Introduced in 1977, the name Ultra 5 comes from 5 features: No Slots, Precision Steering, Variable Speed Control, Electro Activated Cars & Futuristic Track. Although never a great performer, the Ultra 5 replaced the earlier XLerators & preceded the Speedsteer system in 1979 which is when the second chassis was made. These chassis fit under a wide variety of Aurora AFX & G+ cars as well as Autoworld's Xtraction & TOMY AFX Turbo bodies. NO LABEL OR INSTRUCTIONS ARE INCLUDED> SHOWN FOR REFERENCE ONLY. Please Note: REAR CHROME WHEELS ARE THE SAME THE ORIGINAL AURORA NON AND MAGNATRACTION CHASSIS. REAR TIRES ARE LIKE THE RARE 8720 AFX TIRES AND FIT GREAT UNDER AURORA RYDER TRUCK SERIES AS WELL AS MOST OTHER TYPICAL WIDTH AURORA AFX 3-GEAR CHASSIS. FRONT WHEELS AND TIRES FIT NATIVE WITH THE AURORA G+ STYLE CHASSIS. CARBON BRUSHES AND BARRELS AS WELL AS THE REAR PINION GEAR INTERCHANGE WITH G+ STYLE CHASSIS AS WELL TO INCLUDE TURN ONS, STOP POLICE AND SPEED SHIFTERS.  There will be some oxidation on the pickup shoes which is typical as they tested each one at the factory and over time, the tarnish becomes more apparent.
