They are made from 1/16" (0.0625") stock 1018 steel and extra insistance was placed on making sure they are straight.
The splined areas on original Aurora axles can vary widely. The spline area on these axles can vary in diameter from .0625" to about .0635", a variation of approximately 1.6%
This axle can also be used on T-Jet style chassis by Johnny Lightning, Auto World, Dash.
