Remove the bumper.

Remove the steering wire.

Remove the Tie Bar and save it for later.

Remove the Pinion Gear

Notch an approx. 2mm hole at the center of the front of the chassis as shown in the photo. You can use a 3/32 bit.

Insert a Guide Pin (type 8897 steel)
 
Step 7Step 7
Adjust the wheels so they are straight and replace the Tie Bar you had saved earlier.

Remove the pickup shoes.
 
Step 2Step 2
Cut out the front of the center square, creating a groove for the guide pin.
 
Step 3Step 3
Now cut a notch in the front plate about the size shown in the photo.
 
Step 4Step 4
Insert a guide pin and replace the two outside pick up shoes.
