Believe It or Not: Six Aurora Vibrator Slot Car wheels were used to make each "Communicator" prop for the original 1960's Star Trek series!

Further still, Aurora made several iterations of Vibrator wheels and the ones authentic to the props differ from their brothers by only a matter of some hundredths of an inch. You can read all about the parts and the whereabouts of the ten legendary props at HeroComm.com

In this enlarged photo you can see three Aurora slot car wheels. The only difference between them is the thickness of the "flange" which is the edge of the wheel that would face towards the body of the car. The "C" style wheels are the ones that were used in the making of the original props.
